St Columbus Valentine's Dance

Held at the St Columbus Hall in North Coast Road. Lots of old-timers music and a small crowd, but very nice dance. I need to do more of these types of functions. Merrick on the 1s & 2s and a little drop in by The Wiz as well.

Kyle & Vanessa Firmin's Wedding

Officially back in business "FreekForce" is available for hire! Getting straight back to business at the wedding of Kyle and Vanessa at St Theresa's. Nice crowd, awesome food and decor. It's like we never left. Mark and Brent would be proud.

Shardelle and Clint Houston's Wedding

or a FreekForce reunion (call it either :-) at Saint Theresa's in Sydenham on December 28th, 2013. The first official "back-in-business" function for me. Mark Tucker was down from New Zealand - He's the bride's uncle. D3 aka Byron Tucker rocked up with his 2 SL1200's. DJ Wills made an appearance as well and ofcourse all we were missing was Brent and his local set. oh and Richlieu was the MC. However the main element was the joining of Shardelle and Clint in matrimony.

Llewelyn Crowie turn 40

and had his celebration at Parkhill Secondary School Hall. Wills and I got roped in to play alongside Glen Montgomery. Took the SL's and Serato. Awesome jol. Waiting for Wills to get me some pictures to post here....

Laulee Harris' 50 birthday

at the Norwegian Hall in St Thomas Road. What a bunch of party animals. Check out Kyle on the 1's-n-2's and a special performance of Gangnum Style.

Richlieu and Tyrelle Beaunoir

were married on Saturday, October 20th at Braeside in Ballito. Wills and I made a guest appearance at the reception with DJs Paul and Mark. Awesome event. Beautiful wedding. Bit of an eye-opener for me. Things have changed since I've been out the scene. Yoh!

Famous Pose

I think I have a photo of Brent in this pose for nearly ever second week of the last few years... And in all of them, just like this one he's wearing - The Fynn Grin™. This one was taken 2 days before Hedley... I mean, Brent leaves for New Zealand where I'm sure, once reunited with Mark they will start a mobile - and make us proud. Always showing up late with an excuse ofcourse - bag and headphones in hand. Brent leaves Thursday, March 18, 11h30.

The De Beers

From New Zealand to Dubai... People came to witness the union of JD and Simone De Beer and Saturday 04 July 2009 at Sica's Guest Lodge. Gordon Franks did the formalities and MC'ed til 8, then Brent and I played the jol with sound and ligting hired from Vuvuzela Sound Solutions [Ninja and Marvin]. And since this was a "Grecia" function... anyone wanna guess what the closing song was.....? Hey wait a minute, Brent didn't we retire like 6 months ago?

It just never ends...

Last year we had our official "last" function but since then we've done 2 more. The latest being Peter Oberholzer's 60th birthday party last Saturday...

Byron and Allison

I knew it was too good to be true... Just when you thought we were closed for business. Here we come again. Byron and Allison Tucker tied the knot - FINALLY on Saturday 30 January 2009.

Mr and Mrs Smith

Had their wedding reception at St Columbus Hall in North Coast Road on the 20th of December last year. This was officially the last function of ours... More about that later... Stay tuned.

Calvin and Carmel's

reception took place at DHS in Musgrave this Saturday. Aside from the "Kill Bill" steps we had to carry our equipment up and down, it was a wonderful evening.

Darren and Shelwynn's wedding

reception at St John's Hall this Saturday went off smoothly. You can see by the pics that it was a parté! - not counting the Whitney Houston tribute set. Guest appearance by Freek Force founding member and legend - DJ Wills. I even caught Mark doing the electric slide with one of our disco lights. The food was .... actually nevermind. The décor we very nice.
