From New Zealand to Dubai... People came to witness the union of JD and Simone De Beer and Saturday 04 July 2009 at Sica's Guest Lodge. Gordon Franks did the formalities and MC'ed til 8, then Brent and I played the jol with sound and ligting hired from Vuvuzela Sound Solutions [Ninja and Marvin]. And since this was a "Grecia" function... anyone wanna guess what the closing song was.....? Hey wait a minute, Brent didn't we retire like 6 months ago?
Last year we had our official "last" function but since then we've done 2 more. The latest being Peter Oberholzer's 60th birthday party last Saturday...
I knew it was too good to be true... Just when you thought we were closed for business. Here we come again. Byron and Allison Tucker tied the knot - FINALLY on Saturday 30 January 2009.
Had their wedding reception at St Columbus Hall in North Coast Road on the 20th of December last year. This was officially the last function of ours... More about that later... Stay tuned.
